The place is located away from the tourist zones, in a very nice pedestrian street having many bars and restaurants. Several buses and trams will bring you to the center of Rome in 20 minutes. If you prefer to live among locals (as I do), this is perfect. The apartment is well equipped, although some stuff is a bit old (I couldn’t make the ancient washing machine work, but there are a couple of laundromats around the corner anyway). The air in the room is very humid despite the dehumidifier, but you get used to it and I suppose this would hardly be an issue during warmer months (I was there in November). Last but not least, Ivan was a great host. He took much time showing me the neighborhood and gave me a few useful tips. He also responded quickly when I contacted him during my stay. This place has a great value for its price. I’d happily come back again!
